Prison video

This video is typical of Johnny Cashe's style of music.
He always tried to connect with his audience during his gigs through
his on stage banter and jokes, as you will see in this video.
This on stage concert is typical of most artists in this genre.
Watching this video has allowed me to get a better idea of the style of johnny Cash
and how I want to incorperate it into the video I am going to create for my project.

The pitch I displayed to my class was simple but due to my planning and improvisational skills I made it a work and made the whole class laugh in the proccess, Success!
My class mates suggested that I:
change my plan for my video from a set stage to a narrative scene with music played over the top.

prelim background work

This is the stuff we used to plan our prelim, minus the story board.
This is the prop list for our group video it contains a list of all the things we needed for our video to make it look as much like the orignal Busted video as possible.
Unfortunatly this did not help alot on the day of the filming as some of the cast forgot their uniforms and we had to make new plans on how to make the video look like the orignal video.

Preliminary Video

Busted video done by my preliminary task group, although I don't appear in the credits. I did appear in the video, I have pointed out my location in the background using an arrow.

The reason that my name is missing from the credits is the members of the group who help edit the video forgot to put my name in.

As you can see from the video I am not very good at dancing, so it is a good thing I intend to spend most of my time behind the camera for my own music video.

The romance in the song

The ring of fire is not just a song of pain and Fire it's about love and romance.
I decided to look at Johnny Cash's song from another perspective so I research the love and romantic notes of the song and of Johnny Cash's life in general.
Bellow is a video that shows that fire can beautiful as well as destructive.

This is the song first version of the song when Johnny Cashsung it in 1963 with a backup group of guitar players. I put this on my Blog to give you an Idea of the song I intend on using for my music video.

Pacific Ring of Fire

A real Ring of Fire in the Pacific Ocean, were volcanoes are a threat to daily life. I felt I needed to put this on my blog to make you aware that 'The Ring of Fire' is not just a fictional creation of a song writer it is also a real life area where active volcanoes cause peoples problems in their every day lives as there is a constant threat of vocanic eruptions.

Lip synch

Here is my lip sync video, the video itself is good quality but my skills as a lip sync artist is debatable. I did this video standing in front of a web camera and my friend and colleague Darren helped me edit the video to make it look alot better. As the original video had us laughing hysterically in the background.

Today I starting research of Other music and musicians in this genre

I also started to research the guitar, the only Musical instrument I have decided to use in the video as I have already decided some what on the narrative I will be using for the video.
